Evesham in Bloom Competition

As part of Evesham’s entry into the national Britain in Bloom contest, we are having our own “Evesham in Bloom” competition for local schools, businesses and organisations.

We will be giving any school that wishes to take part approx. 100 plug plants for the children to plant in pots and nurture until they are ready to be planted outside in the garden or baskets or troughs.

To incorporate the new Evesham Festival of Words we have asked that the theme might be their favourite book, story or nursery rhyme.

We have some eager judges who are looking forward to visiting the schools in early July to see what they have done.

This is always a wonderful chance to see what the pupils can do and I have never ever been disappointed yet. The Mayor of Evesham will be leading the judges of the school competition and I am sure he will enjoy it very much.
